Slow Internet Connection Speed Of My Laptop?

The speed of internet connection on my HP Pavilion laptop which is on a new wireless router of Ptcl with the internet speed capability of 8 Mbps but the modem is too much slow. Most of the website are didn't able to open and waiting sign is always there to irate me or after some time a message pop up please wait your required website is uploaded soon. So I was thinking to complain for the my new laptop’s performance, but when I discuss this issue with my friend, She suggests me to go for the Speed Test and perform the internet speed test for my laptop. Then further she said if the internet speed is as equal or near to 7 Mbps, then there is no issue with your internet speed so after that you can go for the complaint of processing of the laptop. But in case if the speed of your internet connection is round about half of 7 Mbps or lower than that then there must be issued with your internet connection.

So by following her instructions I go for the Ptcl Speed Test as I am using the internet connection of Ptcl. It automatically gets the IP address of my laptop, then the starts calculating the download speed of my Ptcl internet connection, when it completes it switch to checking the upload speed of my internet connection. When the internet speed test displayed the results for my internet connection I was amazed to see it is just 450kbps downloading speed instead of 8Mbps.

Then I spoke to my internet connection provider and ask them to fix the issues related to my internet connection. Now I didn't ever face slow internet connection issues. Thanks to my friend and Speed Test to guiding me on the right path and solve my issues.
