These songs that may the old songs of the old Indian movies or the Latest Indian songs in the new movies are very much elaborate and lavishly filmed. These songs have always been a prominent feature of all the movies right from the start of the Indian film industry. There is a saying that you can never imagine an Indian movie without songs. The fact is that there are some movies that are successful only because of the songs and the dances. As you know that the Indian tradition and the culture along with their religion like Hinduism is quite much musical. That also shows and explains why music is an essential part of the life of all the Indian civilizations.

The early age of Indian cinema from 30s to 40s was almost all the music and dances were classical. Those Indian old songs were with fewer instruments. While a decade after that era the western music influenced the Indian music of the Hindi films. This experiment helped the Indian musicians and the music to evolve. This and the other experiments keep the Indian music to change with time to time but the typical Indian essence has remained intact which makes the Indian film music different from all other genres of music.
